European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) Section for Communication History?

At the ECREA conference in Barcelona there will be a meeting of scholars interested in communication history. This meeting could be a first step to form a section for communication history within the ECREA. If your research interests include the history of communication, media history or the history of communication praxis, you should join this meeting. We intend to bring together scholars from different European countries and to create a platform for reflecting and developing different approaches in analyzing communication history. Moreover we would like to discuss the founding of a new section.

The meeting will take place at the Barcelona congress venue, Thursday 27th from 14 to 15 h at room 131.

Coordinators: PD Dr. Klaus Arnold (Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt) and Prof. Dr. Susanne Kinnebrock (University of Vienna).
For more information please contact Klaus Arnold (Klaus.Arnold@ku-eichstaett.de) or Susanne Kinnebrock (susanne.kinnebrock@univie.ac.at).
