Assistant Professor — Communication Law and Policy

 

 

We are seeking candidates with primary interests in communication law and policy. Those interests would be demonstrated in both the person’s research/creative work and teaching. We seek to educate students to value the traditions of free and responsible media, and to become productive, legally knowledgeable media practitioners.

 

This colleague will teach two courses per semester, which will include core undergraduate and graduate courses in communication law and policy. A Ph.D. or J.D. is required, and professional experience in a media profession is highly desired but not required.  Appointment will begin in August 2011.
